Worship During the Pandemic

Our charge as Christians is to love one another.  During this pandemic, we express that love through cautious, diligent care for the safety of our neighbors. Our “normal” way of worship has been set aside for now.

Beginning August 9, worship in-person is at 10:00 a.m. with a limited capacity and extra precautions in place.  Sunday school and childcare are not available at this time.

Online worship is also available for all who prefer to stay home.

Read on below to see how we “normally” do things when we are not in the midst of a public health crisis. We hope to be able to return to “normal” very soon!

“Normal” Sunday Worship Services

Here at the Delta United Methodist Church, we offer two separate worship services.

We have something for everyone.

Infants and toddlers to adults and seniors, Delta United Methodist Church offers programs and worship and support for every stage of life.

The Sacrament of Lord’s Table is open to all and offered  the first Sunday of each month.

Contemporary Worship at 8:30 a.m.

We offer a praise and contemporary experience in our Fellowship Hall while enjoying coffee and fellowship with your friends and family.

Everyone is welcome to bring their guitar or favorite instrument with them.

Later Worship at 10:45 a.m.

If you are one that loves the more traditional liturgical experience with organ and choir music, please come and join us at 10:45 a.m. worship service.
