We have a variety of groups here at the Delta United Methodist Church. We have groups for everyone – men, women, and youth.
- Men’s Group – Men of the Church meet on the first Tuesday of each month at C&Js Cafe at 7:30 a.m. On the next three or four Tuesdays of each month, they meet in the Church Fellowship Hall at 7:30 a.m. All men are welcome. There is always breakfast and good conversations. They have a Bible Study going on once a month.
- United Methodist Women (UMW) – We have daytime and evening groups. Susanna Wesley Circle at 9:30 a.m. every third Thursday of every month. Esther Evening Circle at 6:30 p.m. every forth Thursday of every month. United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice. Members raise up to $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world.
Purpose of United Methodist Women:
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
- United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) – 6th through 12th grade and they meet on Sundays at 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. through out the school year. Takes a break for the summer months.
