Welcome to Delta United Methodist Church
This website is for you! We want people to know about our church family and the Delta community. And we want to give you a safe way to check us out before you walk up our steps and pull on the door handle. If you are already part of our family, Welcome Home! If you aren't just yet, please, come in and sit a spell.
Who are we? We are a place of warmth, friendship and love with an outreach mission that extends far beyond our church walls. We are a congregation of hope and an open place of worship that seeks to share the Good News beyond the conventional barriers of worship.
Are you feeling alone in your spiritual journey? Would you like to share in the journey with us - young, older, single, married, those new to the faith, and those who have spent their life in Christian fellowship?
We invite you into this fellowship where transformation, by the power of God's love, moves us to serve our community and throughout the world. We have a long tradition of offering our hearts, stretching our minds, and extending Christ's hands to those in need.
Join Pastor Tom Hazelwood and the Delta United Methodist Church church family this Sunday at 10am, in person or online. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we offer a 10:00 a.m. worship service in person: space is limited, however, to only 50 people by Colorado state guideline. Please click here to make a reservation. Masks must be worn and all similar precautions followed. Fellowship, classes, and other meetings are temporarily cancelled. For more information, click on the COVID-19 tab in the main menu.
Online worship is also available! Sunday Worship is prerecorded and posted for you to enjoy whenever it is convenient for you. Click the tab above or follow this link to our YouTube page. We are also working on a live-streaming solution for worship in the future. Stay tuned!
Though we have had to make temporary changes, under normal circumstances, our Sundays include:
- Contemporary Worship at 8:30 a.m. with coffee, guitar music, the Pastor's message and relaxed seating in our Fellowship Hall.
- Adult Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. Whether you have read the study that week or not, you can join in on the open conversation or just enjoy listening to everyone's thoughts about the reading.
- Later Worship at 10:45 a.m. in the sanctuary. We have Child Care and Sunday School for the younger children available. This service is followed by coffee and snacks in the Fellowship Hall at noon.
We pray that we will all be able to return to normal very soon! In the meantime, stay safe!
Come see if Delta United Methodist Church would work for you!
